VOW Golf Day Raises Over £2k for evo Foundation

Yesterday saw over 50 VOW customers, 13 suppliers and 18 evo and VOW colleagues descend on the Belfry for the annual VOW golf day.

Attendees were given the option of playing a round of 4-ball golf on the legendary Belfry PGA course, or taking part in one of the other activities, including driving reverse steer buggies, enjoying a private lesson with a PGA pro, or partaking in a round of mini golf on the Belfry’s tiny course…

The weather was a bit questionable, but everyone had a great time – read on below for some of the highlights of the day – and a massive thank you to all our suppliers and colleagues who helped make the day a huge success!

Nearly £2,000 raised for evo Foundation!

Well done to Richard Hoyland who won the closest to the pin competition and bagged himself a £100 voucher for The Ivy Collection.

Attendees were also able to take part in an exclusive raffle, with a chance to win a suit and shirt from Yorkshire Menswear, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine from Nestlé, 4 Rounds of Minigolf from Junkyard Golf Club and a 4-Ball Round of Golf from The Belfry Hotel & Resort!

A special thank you goes out to Craig Burlton from Moorside Office Limited who donated back his raffle prize for an impromptu auction on the night – raising an additional £300!

All together we raised nearly £2,000 for evo Foundation, which is a fantastic result and will really help us to continue to support our local communities.
