Steve Wragg
Chairman, evo Foundation

Steve is an experienced non-executive director with more than 20 years of board-level leadership across charitable, public, and commercial organisations. Originally from Sheffield and now based in Barnsley, Steve built a successful career in the IT sector before moving into a wide-ranging portfolio of governance roles.

At evo Foundation, Steve provides strategic oversight, supports effective governance, and leads the development of new fundraising initiatives aimed at advancing education and alleviating poverty. With two children at university and deep roots in South Yorkshire, Steve is committed to expanding opportunities for people across the region and supporting local communities during times of need.

Andrew Gale | evo Group Chief Executive

Andrew has been with the evo business for over 15 years both as CFO, and now Chief Executive. The evo Foundation was his idea, and in his role as a Trustee, he will bring his knowledge of evo and the UK industry, alongside his Pension Trustee experience, to the evo Foundation.

Esther Murdock

After holding various leadership roles for over 33 years within the Public Sector sales division of Banner (part of the evo Group), Esther decided to step aside and spend time within the voluntary sector. She is delighted to be appointed a Trustee of the evo Foundation and is looking forward to being able to make a positive difference during these challenging times.

Leanne Gregg | People Director

Leanne has 22 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, specialising in managing global people teams. Leanne’s involvement as a trustee for various charitable organizations has given her unique insights into the challenges faced by those in need, and she is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to address them.

 

Steve Blowers

Steve has held various senior management roles within the business supplies sector, including VOW Europe Ltd. Steve has volunteered at the BOSS Federation for various years, helping assess support requests for industry employees facing difficulties. He’s also deeply involved in his local golf club, serving on their Seniors committee, and offering volunteer support. In his retirement years, Steve enjoys dedicating his time to charity and his local community.

Steve Forde

Steve has worked in the office products industry for over 30 years, in a variety of Commercial, Inventory and Merchandising roles. Steve joined evo in 2014 as Group Merchandising Director and subsequently became Group Inventory Director, before moving to Banner as Commercial Director. Today Steve works part-time, supporting evo with various strategic projects. Outside of work, Steve is a lifelong fan of Thetford Town FC and enjoys reading, writing and computer programming.

 

Viv Slater
Banner Managing Director

In 2015, Viv joined Banner, an evo company, as Corporate Sales Director, and in 2023, she was promoted to Managing Director. Viv’s unwavering dedication to her work and her ability to inspire and lead teams make her an invaluable asset to Banner, the wider office products community, and now, evo Foundation.

As a Trustee, Viv’s ambition is to ensure evo Foundation facilitates and inspires communities across the UK and Ireland, to a brighter future, through the advancement of education and prevention of poverty.

 


 

Phillippa Wardleworth

Phillippa is Head of Marketing for VOW Wholesale and has worked within the evo group for many years, building strong relationships across the evo business and wider industry. With a strong commitment to supporting charities and making a positive difference, Phillippa brings creativity, energy and a collaborative approach, along with experience in fundraising initiatives and building meaningful connections that drive lasting impact across communities.

 

Steve Smith 

Steve has over 25 years’ senior experience within the Logistics sector, 12 of those years working at evo managing the UK and Ireland operations. He enjoys taking on challenges for charitable organisations close to his heart, and was involved in helping set up the evo Foundation during his time with evo. In 2023, Steve took on “The Walk of evo”, raising over £35,000 for the Foundation and completing the equivalent of 10 marathons in 10 days.
